About the Job
We are looking for a hybrid Product Marketing Manager for our heavy equipment construction products! Based on your experience, you could work on wheel loaders, articulated / haul trucks, or motor graders. You'll support a group of existing products and development of new products.
This position is based just north of Chicago. After onboarding, it is in the office 3 days a week and remote 2 days. It has up to 20% travel across the US. It's on a great team that is very supportive and helps each other.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with distributors to help with their sales efforts
- Develop the Market Analysis report, SWOTs, price and product comparisons
- Identify what new products are needed based on competitor and consumer research
- Conduct machine and customer surveys to determine customer trends & opportunities
- Provide support to sales and distributors through marketing activities, product training, customer visits, competitive comparisons,and presentations
- Lead new product introductions including sales material, competitive comparisons, training, and sales support.
- Develop sales tools for in-house training, distributor and customer presentations.
- Brochures, specification sheets, product bulletins, marketing plans, video's, etc
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Engineering or Business
- 4 years' experience in heavy equipment and/or product management
