We're seeking an experienced product manager to oversee our portfolio of driver products. This pivotal role involves managing the complete product roadmap and overseeing project execution for our primary driver-focused offerings. These include mobile applications like the Driver App (iOS and Android) and various applications for Android and Windows operating on in-taxi tablet devices, catering to both drivers and passengers. Collaborating closely with engineering and QA teams in an Agile environment, you'll drive enhancements, new features, and product development utilized by numerous drivers nationwide. You'll serve as the subject matter expert for these products, supporting operations, marketing, data, and sales teams by providing in-depth insights into the driver experience.
Our mission presents intriguing challenges. How can we streamline passenger-driver interactions? How do we effectively communicate the value proposition to drivers regarding their earnings? How might we leverage technology to scale driver training?
This role isn't just about product management but also offers a leadership dimension. You'll regularly interface with the executive team, presenting the product roadmap, updating project statuses, and offering valuable insights derived from product-level data.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Spearheading strategy, UX/Design, and Product Development for mobile and tablet-based driver applications.
- Defining product requirements for both new and existing driver products, using Epics and detailed User Stories.
- Analyzing key metrics to guide decision-making and evaluate success.
- Collaborating with visual and UX designers to create intuitive products for our driver community.
- Partnering with internal stakeholders, vendors, and businesses to brainstorm, prioritize, and deliver exceptional customer solutions.
- Monitoring driver products in the field, working with product operations to ensure they meet established KPIs.
- Establishing a tight feedback loop with operations and support for continuous product enhancement.
- Conducting user research and tests to validate UX hypotheses and prioritize product initiatives.
- Ensuring understanding and alignment on projects within and among teams at Curb.
Essential Requirements:
- 4+ years of mobile product management experience with successful consumer-facing products at scale.
- Demonstrable leadership experience in crafting and delivering strategies, collaborating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring accountability for outcomes.
- Familiarity with mobility products or rideshare is advantageous.
- Proficiency in data analysis, extracting insights, and making informed decisions. Experience with Excel/SQL/Python is a plus.
- Technical acumen, including collaborating on technical architecture and navigating trade-offs for timely delivery.
- Passion for building user-friendly products that resonate with customers.
