Role and Responsibilities
This individual will work with Software Engineering, Data Scientists, Product Managers, and customers to develop software that improves the understanding of renewable asset performance and drives improved results. Responsibilities include:
- Determine the overall vision of Radian Generation's analytics software.
- Collaborate with internal / external stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements.
- Document use cases, feature descriptions, and user stories to build viable backlog items.
- Manage the product backlog and prioritize features based on internal / external needs and shifting requirements.
- Oversee all stages of product design and development.
- Participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints.
- Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process.
- Deliver updates to internal / external audience and provide training to end users.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Preferred Experience
- 3+ years in a product role.
- Agile development processes.
Required Qualification & Education
- Demonstrable expertise in Data Visualization and Analytics.
- Domain knowledge in solar / wind / storage.
Required Skills & Competencies
To perform the job successfully, the candidate should demonstrate competencies in performing the essential functions of this position by performing satisfactorily in each of these competencies:
- Technical knowledge in performance analysis for wind, solar, or storage projects.
- Understanding of IoT data streams and addressing scalability across many projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively (written, verbal and visual) with different audiences and develop a deep understanding of each user's goals while synthesizing common characteristics.
- Understanding of the economics of renewable energy and the impact of performance.
- A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to customer success.
- Excited to share what you know and to learn much more about renewables.
- Desire to support our customers and provide them a valuable experience.
- Good interpersonal, business management, and developmental skills.
- Self-sufficient, able to focus and to make trade-offs when needed to optimize outcome as conditions change, and uses own judgment.
- Demonstrates passion to learn in a rapidly growing and evolving environment.
Preferred Skills & Competencies
- Use of agile planning tools such as Jira.
The pay range for this role is:
75,000 - 110,000 USD per year(United States)
