Our organization specializes in automotive data and we are looking for an experienced Product Portfolio Manager to lead the development and management of our automotive parts product portfolio, ensuring alignment with market needs and company goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the automotive OEM and parts-data market, and a proven ability to work cross-functionally to bring products to market successfully. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute product strategy and roadmap for automotive parts products.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market trends.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to develop product requirements and go-to-market strategies.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept through launch and beyond.
- Analyze competitive offerings to ensure our products meet and exceed industry standards.
- Work closely with internal and external partners to ensure product quality, timely delivery, and outstanding customer experience.
- Monitor and report on product performance and make recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of product management experience in the automotive industry, with knowledge of automotive systems, components, and the specific requirements for light and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Ability to conduct market research, understand customer needs, and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Skill in defining product strategy, setting a vision, and creating a roadmap that aligns with business goals.
- Experience working with agile engineering, sales, operations, and marketing teams to develop and execute product plans.
- Organizational skills to manage the product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond.
- Some proficiency in data analysis, performance metrics, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate product value and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, manage partners, and drive product success in the market.
- Onsite collaboration 1-2 days per week (Tues and Wednesdays) in our Troy office is expected.
