Job Description:
The Product Lifecycle Manager (PLM) Program Manager will drive and manage End-to-End Product Lifecycle Planning, Program Execution, and Performance Management for Compute products and services throughout the product lifecycle:
- Strategy, Definition and Development
- Launch & Sales Ramp
- Active Selling Lifecycle
- End of Sales/End of Support
The Compute PLM Program Manager will lead cross functional teams and form interlocks across all Business Units through the value chain to manage product(s) through the lifecycle - Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, Sales Enablement, Marketing and Pointnext.
As a PLM program manager, you would:
Engage regularly with the PLM core team members - developing relationships, sharing best practices, identifying dependencies, identifying opportunities for improvement, fostering teamwork, and gaining synergies where applicable. Drive program planning and execution with Business Unit cross functional leads to achieve commitments in the following areas - business, financial, quality targets, schedule, process execution and product launch. Provide support and/or lead teams through the New Product Introduction process with related functions such as engineering, supply chain and Pointnext.
Responsibilities:
- Manage complex projects following defined process and governance, utilize program management tools, and implement best practices across end-to-end product lifecycle.
- Strengthen core team relationship through collaboration, influence, and negotiation. Be able to lead through ambiguity and change.
- Effectively program manage the product lifecycle ecosystem through required meeting infrastructure, such as Core Team, Program Approval Committee, and Readiness meetings.
- Develops and directs development of schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and other support requirements for assigned program.
- Manages activities of supporting project teams and internal development partners; ensures progress against established plan and makes determinations based on analysis of business information to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.
- Be an agent of change and support, apply and advocate governance processes and requirements.
- Manages cross-functional teams and communications to facilitate projects and ensure timely delivery to clients.
- Manages the development of project guidelines, contingency plans, objectives, and deliverables.
- Proactively identify issues and solutions, and marshal resources necessary to attack and resolve.
- Lead program lessons learned, feed back into the team & process for future programs.
- Consults with business leaders on a wide range of issues related to the strategy formulation process and related programs.
- Independently drafts and presents deliverables & recommendations, experience presenting to Sr. Executives.
- Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the manufacturing and/or engineering organization.
- Leads and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience of Program Management within a technology function.
- Strong knowledge of servers is preferred
- Understanding of R&D within a technology function
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent project management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Extensive experience with using project and program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.
- Ability to summarize abstract ideas clearly and independently manage project objectives.
- Product ecosystem understanding - products and customer requirements, dependencies, internal and external partners, etc. - technically and organizationally for effective program management.
- In-depth knowledge of hardware/firmware/software build, validation, and release processes.
- Create and form cross BU interlocks on roadmap and solution-level planning.
- Regularly host program core teams, update portals, share meeting minutes, track open actions through completion & be operationally effective.
- Analyze program performance - strategic, operational & financial.
- Comfortable with financial analysis to assess historical performance & demand plans - aligning financial plans to in-market performance/expectation.
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence; mastery in English and local language.
- Superior group facilitation and interviewing skills.
- Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
- Developed leadership skills, including team building, conflict resolution, and management.
- Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to project objectives.

USD Annual Salary: $86,000.00 - $198,000.00
