Product Liability Litigation Paralegal - LHH

LHH is looking for a Product Liability Litigation Paralegal for a law firm in Chicago. It will be a Hybrid role (in-office 3 days, remote 2 days after onboarding/training)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal with 3-5 years of experience in managing complex litigation cases. The ideal candidate will excel in discovery, trial preparation, and trial support, and demonstrate proficiency with litigation support applications.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of litigation-focused paralegal experience.
• Expertise in litigation support applications (e.g., Relativity, Perfect Law, M365).
• Proficient in MS Office with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with local court rules and procedures.
• Detail-oriented, team player with initiative and creativity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of large-scale litigation under partner direction.
• Organize and maintain electronic and hard copy document collections.
• Handle calendaring and track deadlines.
• Perform legal and factual cite checking using resources like Westlaw, Lexis, and Blue Book.
• Draft and file routine legal documents (e.g., attorney appearances, notices).
• Coordinate and file briefs, motions, and other court submissions.
• Oversee document production, including managing chain of custody and analyzing materials.
• Research court rules and ensure filings comply with local requirements.
• Prepare pretrial documents, track trial exhibits, and manage trial transcripts.
• Assist in trial and hearing preparation and provide logistical support.
• Collaborate with clients, opposing parties, and third parties for evidence collection.

Salary: $60,000 - $85,000 plus benefits
