Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Product Engineering Manager to join our team. This hands-on leader will lead product lifecycle management and market positioning through best-in-class technical product innovation and production process optimization for our growing manufacturing company. The Product Engineering Manager will enhance R&D, quality control, product management and technical training.
Responsibilities:
- Lead new product introductions from ideation through production, leveraging technical expertise to guide appropriate cross-functional stakeholders in sales, supply chain, production, finance, and service.
- Lead problem-solving on system designs for new sales quotations and existing after sales support.
- Create product portfolio roadmaps, launch kits, and specification sheets to support new verticals.
- Recommend lean manufacturing principles that improve production processes and increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with supply chain to drive supplier quality, selection, and cost improvements.
- Monitor and analyze warranty data to improve operations, product training, and after sales support.
- Ensure QC testing and development processes are documented by following scientific methods and meet compliance with regulations and standards, including 3rd party certifications for international solutions (N.A.).
- Participate in strategic planning, SIOP, and budget development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Product Engineer, Product Manager, or Quality Manager.
Key Competencies:
- Proven experience in the manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and product management principles.
- Great interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to translate technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and computer skills, AutoCAD, and applicable measurement tools.
- Leadership skills and experience; ability to manage and develop a team.
