Product Engineer - NVH - Zobility

About the Job
Position Description:
- Responsible for the overall Powertrain NVH performance on all FWD Model, Current & Past, and TVM action engine programs.
- Lead powertrain NVH attribute team for the assigned program and meet program deliverables on time
- Ensure engine design content will meet all NVH targets
- Act as the single point of contact for all powertrain NVH systems matters
- Lead completion of powertrain NVH system, sub-system & component Health Chart assessments
- Lead powertrain NVH target cascade from system level downward
- Support CAE (Computed Aided Engineering) analysis using FEM (Finite Element Method) and BEM (Boundary Element Method) methods to assess system level NVH performance
- Lead Engine/Powerplant NVH design verification (DV) process supporting programs for empirical test signoff.
- Interpret DV Test results supporting design/release activities to ensure NVH targets are achieved
- Validate CAE predictions against hardware testing confirming model accuracy
- Develop, implement, and document new Technology & Product development methods
- Acquire and analyze all noise and vibration data in support of the powerplant program & benchmarking
- Produce and present all reports to management on Powerplant NVH status to targets
- Partner with engine, vehicle NVH, and/ or transmission NVH on powerplant NVH issue resolution
Skills Required:
- Software Skills: LMS Virtual Lab (Acoustic BEM), Teamcenter, MATLAB, CATIA
- Working knowledge in acoustic & vibration digital signal processing tools (LMS, Artemis, B&K, etc...)
- Good problem solving skills
- Self-motivated and independent thinker
- Able to lead, multi-task, and vary approach to suit each assignment
- Good interpersonal skills and enjoys working in or with teams
- Good oral and written communication
Experience Required:
- PT NVH Testing & NVH Data Analysis
Education Required:
- BS EE/ME or equivalent
Education Preferred:
- MS EE/ME or equivalent
