Product Engineer
Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ
Pay Rate:$30 per hour
Shift: First Shift (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM), onsite 5 days a week

Job Highlights

• Type: Full-time, Contingent Worker
• Pay Rate:$30 per hour
• Schedule: 8-hour workdays, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

1. Independently plan and perform experiments supporting new product or technology feasibility testing.
2. Critically analyze experimental data, synthesize evaluations, and document findings in an R&D Notebook.
3. Report experimental results to management and peers, advising on product development implications.
4. Support intellectual property strategies by documenting unique, patentable ideas from experiments.
5. Maintain and operate scientific equipment to meet technical, regulatory, and governance objectives.
6. Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) in line with product development and regulatory requirements.
7. Collaborate with engineering teams to support experimental designs and product testing as needed.
8. Perform additional duties as required to support product development objectives.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering (required).
• 1-5+ years of direct laboratory experience (preferred).
• Experience with Instron equipment is a plus (will train if needed).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on experimental tasks.
