Here's a Glimpse at What you'll Do:

As a Core Product Engineer at Lantech, you will:

• Provide engineering support to internal and external customers to maintain and improve Lantech standard product designs and in-house equipment.
• Interface with:

• Manufacturing teams to support production
• Technical Services to support installed machines
• Procurement to support current production and cost improvements
• Sales and Marketing to support machine sales applications

• Work independently, or as part of a team, to apply engineering theory practices, and skills, to solve moderate and complex problems while working in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment
• Support cost-savings, life-cycle testing, and Product Development initiatives.
• Submit deliverables, which include detailed models, assembly and part drawings, bill of materials, and machine tool files.
• On occasion, travel to customer sites to conduct problem solving in support of current technical equipment issues (less than 5%)

At Lantech, our Core Product Engineers play key roles in nearly all facets of our design, improvement, production, and support processes.

What are we Looking For? (Requirements)

We are look for someone who:

• Has a minimum of 1-5 years of Mechanical Engineering experience designing OEM equipment.
• Is proficient in 2D drafting and 3D Modeling
• Has AutoCad and Inventor experience as a plus
• Has previous experience with Finite Element Analysis as a plus
• Has previous experience with continuous improvement as a plus
• Is a self-starter and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Possesses good communication and interaction skills.
• Possesses good problem-solving skills and is able to follow processes/standard work, and embrace change.
• Is able to effectively manage a multiple project workload
• Is authorized to work in the U.S.

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering is required
• Masters in Mechanical Engineering a plus
