The salary range for this position is $32.07 - $35.62 per hour based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. Kendo Brands has a hybrid work model with three days in office and two days remote each week.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Coordinator, Color Product Development will be responsible for supporting day-to-day product development functions and responsibilities. The position will be responsible for receiving, organizing, managing and shipping product samples, coordinating with vendors, and communicating with and supporting internal team & cross-functional partner's product development needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee day-to-day product development operations, including sending shipments, organizing supply closet, organizing product samples, and miscellaneous office tasks.
- Support on-going and new formula developments, keep development trackers & files up to date
- Coordinate formula evaluations, ensuring that samples are distributed, and feedback is collected & tracked in a timely manner
- Research competitive landscape and maintain product benchmarks
- Create product samples for meetings and presentations
- Coordinate vendor meetings, meeting minutes and sample follow-up
- Participate in brainstorms and concept ideation
- Support Product Development manager in additional tasks and projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- BA degree or equivalent experience with 1-2 years of product development work experience preferred
- Passionate about makeup and the beauty industry
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities, and prioritize
- Ability to work in and thrive in a fast-paced, often-changing collaborative environment
- A self-starter, able to work independently and take initiative
- Creative problem solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail
