Who You Are
David Donahue is a leading luxury menswear brand founded in New York City in 1972. We are seeking a Product Development Associate for a new role focusing on men’s apparel. This role is based in New York City and is in-person five days a week.
What You'll Do
The Product Development Associate for Apparel will manage style development from SMS to Bulk delivery.
- Continual policing of the calendar with cross functional and overseas teams to ensure all approval deadlines are met and status communicated.
- Responsible for the timely execution of all garment components
- Work directly with overseas vendors, reviewing and collaborating with design to approve product development submissions including lab dips, handlooms, strike offs, knit-downs, and fit samples
- Responsible for style master set up and style number hierarchy
- Catalog and maintain BOM libraries for future reference
- Create sales collateral such as swatch cards and stock book pages
What You Bring

- 5 years of experience in menswear apparel product development or production
- Understanding of product development lifecycle and critical milestones
- Understanding of fabric and garment construction
- Highly organized record keeping and data organization.
- Problem solving skills
- Strong project management and multi-tasking skills with critical attention to detail and follow through
- Fluent in Microsoft office
- Maintains a positive and professional attitude towards team, vendors, and clients
- Bachelor’s degree
