About the role:

The Product Designer II responsibilities include defining product specifications and creating user centered solutions for fully functional products. To be successful in this role, you should be a self-starter and willing to hit the ground running with product teams.

• Proven experience with Figma for prototyping and design
• Participates in all phases of a product, from discovery to delivery to continued iteration
• Collaborates with product management for feature definition
• Facilitate workshops with product/scrum teams to develop user-centric solutions for product features
• Deliver in a fast-paced, collaborative agile scrum environment
• Practices holistic experience design
• Collaborate with User Researchers for more complex user testing and research
• Develop an understanding of product business requirements and technical limitations
• Understanding of the business and customer behavior
• Process flow and journey map creation
• Present prototypes to stakeholders
• Uses a variety of metrics to analyze and continuously improve the user experience
• Implement and contribute to the GMF design system to ensure UI and brand consistency and development
• Create interactive prototypes, wireframes and mockups including page layout and navigational elements
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Up to date knowledge of current industry trends and market conditions
• Understanding of user research principles, website analytics, visual design principles, scrum principles, responsive design and mobile first principles
• Facilitate working sessions/workshops with product & scrum teams
• Ability to create aesthetically pleasing interfaces and mockups
• Multi-tasking, constant productivity, creativity, and the ability to deal with change
• Self-Motivated, and has a positive attitude, and is always looking to learn more

Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required
• 3-5 years Product Design, UX Design, or UI/Visual Design required
