Product Designer II - Storefront
This is an onsite role. Employees are expected to be in our Boston office Tuesdays-Thursday, and work remotely Mondays and Fridays.

As a Product Designer II, you will be directly impacting the home shopping journey—making it easy for Wayfair customers to bring their home vision to life. You’ll be asked to flex into key customer experiences within the shopping funnel such as Wayfair’s product listing, product details pages while thinking holistically across the entire shopping funnel.
What You’ll Do:
- Utilize design thinking principles to build engaging customer experiences which solve goals with elegant simplicity.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other experienced designers to execute design concepts that deliver on brand goals, business goals, and are technically feasible to implement.
- Align with multiple teams to create cross-functional and user-centric design solutions.
- Drive a sense of urgency in the team to deliver work, emphasizing the use of lean tools and techniques to more rapidly deliver work.
- Day-to-day work will consist of a combination of design execution, and design operations management.
- Contribute to the improvement of our cross-team collaboration Design processes, advocating best practices and innovative solutions between Product, Design, and Engineering teams embracing Agile methodologies.
- Demonstrate strong administration and communication skills. Be a strategist who can take a step back on overarching goals and opportunities, while also acting as a product practitioner who can meticulously work alongside their teams with domain knowledge and design prowess.
We Are a Match Because You Have:
- 3+ years of professional UX experience.
- The ability to deliver high-fidelity design work autonomously.
- Strong understanding of design processes; knowledge of what is possible and what will be hard to achieve and/or implement in a digital environment.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You should be able to effectively present and explain ideas, while also being open-minded and willing to consider new perspectives that may shape your solutions.
- Strong skills in modern design tools like Figma, Miro, UserTesting, and Creative Suite.
- Expertise in producing relevant deliverables, including detailed site maps, user flows/task flows, user journeys,, wireframes, annotations, and prototypes that represent interaction recommendations, etc.
- Research expertise highly valued: You have a solid understanding of basic research principles and methodologies, and have a proven track record of independently conducting user research while selecting appropriate methodologies to inform your design.
- An online portfolio of case studies that demonstrates unfailing advocacy for the user, highlighting: e-commerce design work, enterprise design work, data-driven approaches, and strategic thinking.
