This position is for a Product Development Project Engineer – Seating Systems in the Interiors and Driver’s Environment within the Global Body Engineering group. The Product Development Project Engineer – Seating Systems serves as a central resource for the delivery of Interior and Driver’s Environment systems with emphasis on driver comfort and ergonomics with regards to seats.

The qualified candidate must have seating systems experience. Relocation assistance is available for this role.

Duties include Design, CAD modeling, BOM structure development, Engineering Releases and development of Engineering Requirements & Verification plans for New Product Development. The role will also support Sustaining projects including current product manufacturing and field issues root causing and determining engineering resolutions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science
• At least 5 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience

OR

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science
• At least 3 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience

OR

• PhD in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science
