Product Design Engineer at AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking a Product Design Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Cupertino, CA (Hybrid). You will lead package integration and architecture efforts, working with internal teams and external partners.

 

Rate Range: $50/hour to $57/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Product Design Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to design and integrate packaging solutions.

• Developing and implementing innovative packaging solutions that enhance hardware performance.

• Working with third-party and OSAT partners to bring packaging solutions from concept to high-volume manufacturing.

• Promoting and incorporating new technologies to improve hardware performance and user experience.

• Applying dynamic thinking to solve complex design challenges and adapting quickly to new technical areas.

• Influencing industry trends through the development of advanced packaging specifications and solutions.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product design or packaging engineering.

• Proven experience with 3D design and package integration for hardware products.

• Familiarity with high-volume manufacturing (HVM) processes and working with third-party partners.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $57.00 per hour
