Job Title: Product Cybersecurity Engineer
Job Location: 100% Remote
Job Duration: 6 Months on W2
Summary:
Help us protect ***, our products and our customers from the most advanced threats affecting the automotive industry. *** s Cybersecurity team breaks the mold of traditional internal security and focuses on active threats to *** s products. Product Governance and Innovation is a growing team within *** s Product Cybersecurity team working to develop, implement, and maintain a cybersecurity management system (CSMS). As a Governance Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and enforcement of *** s cybersecurity policies, processes, procedures, and training. You will lead the monitoring and enforcement of the cybersecurity rules and polices governing *** s product cybersecurity global organization.
Your Role:
" Conducting Assessments on the programs based on ISO 21434 and other UNECE R155 standards and Regulations.
" Assist in the creation of a strong cybersecurity culture, cybersecurity awareness, and training, including communicating processes, policy concepts, regulations, and standards to non-technical and non-cybersecurity personnel
" Maintain communication and coordination with other cybersecurity teams and other disciplines, such as Functional Safety and Privacy
" Maintain awareness of current and upcoming standards, regulations, and policies that may impact vehicle cybersecurity
" Monitoring the implementation of cybersecurity in *** products, including:
o Tracking program progress for cybersecurity,
o Ensuring compliance to Standards, Regulations, and *** cybersecurity processes such as leading or participating in audits and assessments
o Identification of cybersecurity issues and gaps,
o Tracking cybersecurity corrective actions, and
o Prioritization and escalation of programs with cybersecurity risks.
Your Background:
" Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
" 5+ years' experience in project management
" Prior Assessments experience in Enterprise/TPRM etc domain.
" Knowledge of the ISO 21434 standard or other standards such as ISO 27001 etc and ability to conduct assessments based on the ISO 21434 standard on different programs.
" Knowledge of how the requirements of the standard are mapped to the processes.
" Ability to understand the interrelationships between different processes (ability to have big picture perspective).
" Ability to work in different time zones to conduct the assessments.
" Experience working in the automotive industry
" High level of oral and written communication skills
" Excellent organization, communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
" Ability to communicate and present complex issues and ideas with precision and clarity, adjusting appropriately for the audience; ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
Your Preferred Background:
" Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
" 8+ years' experience in Project Management
" PMP, Agile, ASPICE Certifications
" Experience supporting & managing vulnerability and incident management activities
" Knowledge of ISO 21434, and UN ECE R155
" Knowledge of common risk assessment methodologies.
" Familiar with cybersecurity mitigations (encryption, certificate management, TLS, wireless communication protection, firewalls, secure boot, etc.)
" Experience configuring and fluent with POSIX based OS(s) e.g. Linux, QNX, etc.
