Overview:
We are in search of a proactive Product Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our processing department by managing product and service orders daily. You'll be responsible for ensuring the accurate entry of order details into our computerized system and coordinating the proper delivery of items. Additionally, this position will act as a stand-in for the Production Manager when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter orders into our system.
Effectively communicate and distribute orders to Processing, Quality Control, and Receiving departments.
Generate and distribute daily invoices to carriers and transportation drivers.
Update inventory details in Astra software and maintain accurate records.
Produce and distribute Product Reports for processing departments.
Assist with payroll tasks, including managing employee time punches and meal waivers.
Print product and ingredient labels for processing departments.
Coordinate daily product flow with plant supervisors and receiving departments.
Prepare and email weekly inventory reports.
Maintain organized office files, including radio inventory, attendance, and scanning reports.
Create and file Exact Weight Reports daily.
Generate sales orders in Astra software, including orders for employee sales.
Set up new items, customers, and stores in the WPL system.
Produce production sheets in Excel as required.
Assist employees, scale operators, and supervisors with resolving queries.
Perform various clerical and office functions as needed.
Serve as a backup for the receptionist, managing phone calls.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED certificate, or two to five years of related experience.
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in basic data entry and office software.
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.
Strong listening skills and ability to convey information accurately.
Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
Skills Required:
Efficient and accurate typing skills.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with office software.
