Product Control and Project Management - Vice President - JPMorgan Chase

Join this dynamic team as a Product Control Vice President with a focus on project management within the team. Job Summary The product control function provides support to the financial controllers and trading desks to ensure that the P&L, balance sheet, and month end close procedures are done correctly and accurately. As a Vice President in Product Control and Project Management, you will provide crucial support to financial controllers and trading desks, ensuring accurate and timely P&L, balance sheet, and month-end close procedures. You will have the opportunity to promote forth and implement robust controls and new business initiatives, coordinate with various front & back office support functions, and serve as an analytical and project support resource. This role offers the chance to manage projects and initiatives related to all of the above, as well as larger cross-business programs. Job Responsibilities Production, preparation and reporting of the daily P&L and Risk Provide detailed analysis and reporting on the financials to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management Partner with the business to drive forth and implement robust controls and new business initiatives Drive coordination across various front & back office support functions to ensure resolution of control and reporting issues in an accurate and timely manner Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control Handle various ad-hoc requests on a daily basis Manage projects and initiatives related to all of the above, as well as larger cross-business programs Work on building team knowledge and morale Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities 6+ years within Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or related area Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related area Strong analytical skills and attention to detail including a strong control focus Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships.
