Job Description:
CoreLogic Claims has a mission to help protect, enhance, and restore families and businesses from financial catastrophe. One important component of restoring from loss is insurance claims. To support this, we are seeking a property insurance enthusiast to help us create, maintain, and enhance our question & answer based estimating solutions, as well as working to enhance customer experience with our pricing database.
As a member of the Claims product team, this individual should be customer-focused, creative, self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to respond quickly to multiple project's needs.
This role involves working closely with the data, product, account management and sales teams, and will be responsible for researching and interpreting the construction estimating best practices of our customers, prospects, and the broader insurance market. It will also involve performing quality assurance of various aspects of data related projects to streamline estimation as needed. The focus of this role is on automating the estimating process through the configuration of the Claims product suite and improving user experience with the pricing database.
This role requires engaging and managing internal projects, client projects, and configuration. The ideal candidate has a strong level of property estimating technical knowledge and an understanding of restoration construction and the property insurance claims market. The ideal candidate is energized by new challenges, has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is detail oriented, and has extensive knowledge of and experience in the property claims industry.
Essential duties include but are not limited to:
• Communicate with clients to understand needs, workflows, and specific estimating guidelines.
• Create, maintain, and/or customize conditional logic driven, question and answer based, claims estimating and/or guided workflow questionnaire products.
• Conduct market research, analyze trends, and speak with contractors and insurance carriers to understand construction estimating best practices and claims management across the country.
• Attend both internal and external meetings with stakeholders (clients, subject matter experts, account managers, product managers, etc.) to consult on project goals and requirements to create innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with the CoreLogic data team as needed for specific project objectives.
• Drive client projects forward through internal and customer defined goals and priorities.
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in property insurance claims.
• Experience in property estimating best practices, quality assurance, or re-inspection.
• Proficiency and experience with CoreLogic (Claims Connect) software and Verisk (Xactimate) software.
• Strong problem solving, reasoning, and critical thinking.
• Comfortable presenting to small groups.
• Outstanding writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Self-starter and self-motivated.
• Tech savvy.
• Detail oriented.
• Proficiency with the entire MS Office suite and strong knowledge of MS Excel in particular.

76,700 - 95,000 USD
