- Contribute to the development of a product vision, then drive a process to bring that vision to fruition
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop a product-line growth strategy
- Demonstrate growth in skillset and progressive competence to take on more responsibilities, to be able to step into Product Owner roles as opportunities arise.
- Drive cross-functional teams comprised of both business roles and technical development during the life cycle of product development
- Inspire and motivate the development teams to deliver innovative and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency.
- Vet scope, requirements, use case/user scenario, test case documents, and design specifications, in partnership with UX, product owners, QA, and design.
- Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products
- Research and build use-cases for product development
- Assesses product market size and customer receptivity data by meeting with customers (with salespeople) and evaluating discussion results
- Introduces new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, operations, marketing, legal, and IT and coordinates broader organizational engagement as products move toward launch
- Participate in innovation sessions
- Ensures all required communication is completed in a thorough, professional, and timely manner
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Participates and coordinates as required with product management, project management, and BT teams
- Key Performance Indicators:
- Follow innovation and product development process and provide appropriate documentation
- Updates ideal warehouse
- Smoothly and effectively transition new products to client's product management discipline
- Ability to convert business process requirements into system requirements for enabling technology is required.
- Excellent organization and time management skills are required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft personal productivity tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of project management techniques, a plus.
- Energetic and flexible to changing priorities.
- Working in close partnership with technical teams, operations, sales marketing, and other business stakeholders
- Educational/Experience and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related discipline
- Experience in product development and/or Product Analyst preferred "
