Our CTV Product Activation team supports the TV/Film/Sports partnership and product strategy globally. As a Global Product Activation Analyst, you’ll focus on supporting the partnership team, product team, and cross functional business line owners on strategic business decision analysis, program management, deal and special project support, business planning and operations, and feedback reporting.
Role Description:
In the role you will advise cross-functional teams across partnerships, product, marketing, finance, operations, and corporate strategy on major business decisions. The types of projects you could own or contribute to include:
The development and execution of annual business plans and related XFN work streams.
Ad hoc analyses for critical content-driven business decisions.
Deal evaluation and internal approval process.
Program management, including leading cross-functional working groups and instituting processes to track and optimize of key projects.
Client-wide strategic programs or initiatives in the TV/Film space.
Internal business operations (goal setting, internal comms, executive briefs).
Insights reports that highlight the top user and partner issues and business opportunities that Product should prioritize.
Internal communications efforts (including weekly updates and monthly newsletters) and industry intelligence tracking (3P research review, earnings reports, key industry announcements).
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS degree
Advanced experience with database querying and dashboard creation, including SQL.
4+ years of experience in an analytically intensive role, such as management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy.
Excellent spreadsheet modeling (complex deal structures, detailed scenario forecasting, program performance tracking, market sizings, etc.)
Excellent presentation skills (independently owning content outline, slide creation, data visualization, and delivery to senior audiences)
Project management experience in a fast-paced, self-starting environment
Strong problem solving and analytical skills and business judgment.
Ability to communicate and influence effectively.
Expertise with ad-supported and subscription business models
Experience in and/or passion for the TV/Film industry.
Skill/Experience/Education:
Mandatory Business operations knowledge: Knowledge of the management process of business operations for a given product, service, or domain. This includes understanding the broader context of generating, securing, and increasing the value of business and revenue outcomes, and knowledge of and experience with driving efficiency and effectiveness of businesses.
Consultative skills: Ability to understand stakeholder needs through dialogue before conducting analysis and making recommendations.
Dashboarding and presentation: Ability to create dashboards to link, report, and analyze metrics based on available data. This includes the ability to prepare effective presentations in content and function, and to speak competently to the level of the audience.
Data analysis and synthesis: Ability to analyze information, draw conclusions, generate alternatives and solutions, and evaluate outcomes. This includes the ability to use data to add value to business planning and strategies.
Data judgment: Ability to convert and/or uncover open-ended real-world problems within the business context into trackable metrics or a structured analytical/statistical framework, as well as the ability to generate business-related insights from data analysis in a way that is meaningful to the stakeholders.
Domain-specific knowledge and skills: Ability to develop, understand, and apply domain-specific technical knowledge to complete assigned work, tasks, and support others in the organization.
Experimental design: Knowledge of the principles and best practices of designing experiments to address issues or evaluate impact. This includes knowledge of design parameters, sampling strategies, data collection, and analytical techniques.
Industry knowledge: Knowledge of the changing landscape of the industry, product areas, other key players, and/or markets including technology trends and issues that affect the operations of one's business and organization.
Project management skills: Ability to effectively prioritize work, display reasonable judgment in setting priorities, and recognizing when help is needed. This includes the ability to determine long-term versus short-term priorities.
Statistical analysis: Knowledge of advanced statistical methods used to analyze data. This includes the ability to identify and conduct appropriate advanced statistical analysis to evaluate sample adequacy, draw inferences, and solve a variety of data-related problems.
Storytelling: Ability to influence and inspire an audience by crafting stories using data that elicit empathy or create buy-in.
Technical acumen: Ability to quickly learn the general concepts and principles in a statistical and mathematical domain, solve or analyze issues or provide useful insights, and demonstrate interest and curiosity in acquiring knowledge across similar domains.
