We are seeking passionate individuals dedicated to high-quality news and storytelling for both on-air and off-air roles, with opportunities for growth.

News 12 is hiring a creative and experienced Freelance Producer to support live daily news broadcasts. Candidates should have live news experience, strong scriptwriting skills, and knowledge of various news topics. Responsibilities include conducting guest research, pre-interviews, and segment planning while thriving in a fast-paced environment.

• Organize engaging newscasts.
• Write teases, intros, and segments.
• Identify compelling stories.
• Develop and research story ideas.
• Attend editorial meetings.
• Write scripts and conduct pre-interviews.
• Create show graphics.
• Assist with breaking news.
• Collaborate effectively.
• Innovate content delivery.
• Conduct pre-show checks.
• Work on special projects.
• Coordinate with various departments.

• Live production experience.
• 3+ years in live broadcast.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Excellent grammar and communication.
• Familiarity with ENPS or similar software.
• Knowledge of production techniques.
• Experience with social media.
• Strong organizational skills.
