The Procurement Specialist efficiently acquires engineering equipment, and services while ensuring cost-effectiveness on assigned design–build projects.

- Procure Materials Efficiently:
- Handle the purchasing process to meet daily and weekly demand requirements promptly, competitively, and cost-effectively.
- Quotation and Organization:
- Organize and request quotations from equipment suppliers and subcontractors.
- Data Maintenance:
- Keep project folders up-to-date and accurate by maintaining all relevant data.
- Supplier Management:
- Oversee suppliers throughout the entire purchase order lifecycle.
- Order Expediency:
- Expedite orders and paperwork until they are received and deemed satisfactory.
- Task Completion and Backlog Management:
- Address department overflow tasks, transactional activities, and backlog issues as assigned.
- Claims and Warranty Handling:
- Manage all purchasing-related warranties, claims, and complaints.
- Associate Degree (AS)
- 5-6 years of Procurement, Expediting, Order management
- Must specifically have EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) or Construction industry experience.
- Must have experience buying engineered equipment, creating subcontracts, and order processing.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel
