Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Procurement Specialist I:
– Provide customer service and support to teammates managing the procurement of products and/or services used in various facilities and business offices.
– Support the use of our client’s online order system, assisting the Purchasing Department as needed.
– Answer queries via phone, e-mail, or CRM platform, adhering to established department response times.
– Analyze support-tracking data to identify trends, patterns, and issues related to general ordering; suggest solutions, notify management, and implement corrective actions as approved.
– Assist with supplier or product transitions as needed.
Required Skills for Procurement Specialist I:
– Associate Degree or Technical Institution equivalent.
– Minimum of 2 years related experience in Customer Service.
– Supply/Sourcing/Purchasing experience in healthcare or multi-site company (strongly preferred).
– Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
– Intermediate proficiency with an online ordering system.
– Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.
– Demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional groups.
