In this role, you will add value to the organization by becoming the single point of contact for local leaders in a specific geographic or plant location. You will enable agility by managing the day-to-day interactions between business stakeholders, sourcing teams and suppliers to collaborate across the End-to-End supply chain operations teams and the commercial business.
You will lead the procure to pay process to ensure both materials and/or services are ordered, and delivered timely and with the right quality and quantity and secure the proper payment for out suppliers. You will also manage the local implementation of regional and/or global projects.
How you will contribute
Your day-to-day activity will contribute to ensure our business meet our customer and consumers expectations. To achieve that, you will execute the procurement agenda by acting as the single point of contact for the stakeholders at a site or region, and will oversee the daily interaction with manufacturing, supply chain, commercial teams, quality assurance, sourcing teams and suppliers. You will also support the Supply Chain Operations teams to deliver service-level targets by ensuring material availability and timely delivery, with right quality and quantity, and taking the lead in problem solving for supply issues and escalating when needed, and support business continuity planning implementation, activating when needed, support the execution of sourcing projects and execute sourcing/spot-buying or contracting activities as agreed with the accountable spend areas, and will be the owner of the source-to-pay process compliance key indicators and take corrective action when necessary.

Main responsibilities:
Supply Issues resolution
+ Work together with material Managers to resolve issues.
+ Problem Solving, Connect with Suppliers and stakeholders to defuse imminent business disruption.
BCP (Business Continuity Plan)
+ Collaborate with Material managers and local stakeholders to define a Plan for the most critical materials.
+ Align with stakeholder’s key prevention actions/activities.
+ Connect with Spend leads, ideate, and align multiple supplier strategy.
Productivity (savings)/ NA projects
+ Lead Projects, connect with stakeholders, Align process (I2M/Non-I2M) -ideas to market-
+ Support RFP (request for proposal) implementations, I2M projects where needed, and special projects
+ Support Plants with SAP contracts (CMaaS)
+ Be creative and curious to identify losses and develop productivity initiatives.
Quality Notifications
+ Develop a zero-defect mindset among supply base.
+ Reinforce with suppliers the _Mondelēz’s_ _Supplier Quality Expectations_
+ Work with suppliers to develop Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to tackle root causes.
+ Support QA Plant’s team to escalate Quality notifications (QN’s) when needed.
+ Manage Claims and credit notes with suppliers whenever needed
+ Develop and Track KPI’s to assess, and improve supplier performance.
+ Analysis/Identification of Key Supplier with opportunities and action plan development.
Accounts Payable/ Finance
+ Support resolution of supplier invoices issues.
+ Follow up on Credit notes application for Material Rejection, Rebate, Material difference in Qty.
+ Resolve Accounts Payable issues across all supply base.
Procure to PAY
+ Identify and Resolve. Invoice rejected due to mismatch with PO.
On Time in Full
+ Ensure the proper flow of materials to secure production continuity.
+ Track and document transportation Incidents with suppliers
+ Establish frequent communication with suppliers to improve On Time – In Full deliveries and request corrective actions to improve when needed.
External Manufacturers support
+ Supply chain issues Acc Payable/Finance/Source to Pay/System
+ EM Delivery Quantity Variance reconciliation
+ Supplier set-up
+ SAP Contract management – Direct Materials both internal plants and External Manufacturers
+ Sourcing requirements – Contract, Source List & PIR management
Procurement Single Point of Contact
+ Ease the communication between local stake holders with Spend Area leads or Indirect materials and Service Proc Ops Team
What extra ingredients you will bring: Team player and the willingness to be accountable when times are tough, drive for results, progressively pushes self and others for results.
Education / Certifications: Bachelor’s in engineering or business administration. Master’s degree is a plus.
Languages: Native English speaker / Fluent in Spanish
Job specific requirements: 5+ years of experience related.

+ ERP Systems (SAP, COUPA, ORACLE, ZYCUS, TUNGSTEN, etc)
+ MS OFFICE (Advanced Level)
Travel requirements: Sporadic, only when needed
Work schedule: From Monday to Friday. This is an On-site job
No Relocation support available, however for candidates voluntarily moving internationally some minimal support is offered through our Volunteer International Transfer Policy
