The Role:
The Procurement Operations Manager oversees the ACH US/CAN Procurement Operations team responsible for the procurement and day to day management of non-commodity items (packaging, ingredients, services) used in both the internal and external manufacturing process. This position will also develop and implement procurement policies, processes and procedures that are fit-for-purpose. In partnership with the Director of Procurement, the Procurement Operations Manager will ensure compliance to applicable procurement and vendor related laws and regulations and compliance with ACH vendor requirements. They are responsible for ensuring that product price, product quality and vendor services meets the needs and requirements of internal manufacturing stakeholders, external manufacturing partners and the business.
What You’ll Do:
Process Leadership and Continuous Improvement:
- Collaborates with the Director of Procurement on the development of the vision, strategic priorities, and roadmap for end-to-end Procurement Operations including the procure to pay process, price management, vendor relations and materials management.
- Oversees procurement process, delivering on process agility, quality output, accuracy, timeliness, fluid collaboration, and high productivity from team members.
- Ensures the optimal utilization of the procure to pay ERP platform and gains a deep understanding of knowledge of systems.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in procurement activities. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and adjust change management strategies accordingly.
- Utilizes data to make decisions on process improvements and measure process performance (KPI’s).
- Manage the internal system used to capture savings projects.
Stakeholder Relations:
- Cultivates and maintains positive relationships with stakeholders, including providing updates and reports, and gathering feedback.
- Collaborates with the finance, accounting, planning and procurement category manager teams to ensure that forecasts and budgets align with the expectations of the business.
- Ensures the development, delivery and storage of high-quality communication and training resources related to policy, processes, technology, tools, and other process matters.
- Organization change management for changes in policy, process, platform.
Issue Management:
- Spots potential issues in the procure to pay process and prevents them from occurring.
- Problem-solving abilities to identify issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Ensures fluid exceptions processing, including expedite requests, item returns and quality holds.
Team Leadership/Collaboration:
- Leads, coaches, and develops members of the Procurement Operations team.
- Evaluates employee performance by setting goals, giving regular feedback, and completing annual reviews.
- Ensures team engagement and high morale.
- Establishes a learning culture and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Work diligently, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team.
- Communication of Corporate Policy:
- Convey corporate policies and guidance, ensuring clarity and understanding among team members.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 five years of related work experience, with at least 2 years in procure to pay process management.
- A minimum of 2 years of team supervision

Salary Range:
- $116,300-147,210 (compensation will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, job related knowledge and specific location.)
- Variable Pay is included in compensation package yet not part of base salary range.
