We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to fill the role of Permanent Procurement Manager in our Engineering department. This unique role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our organization's success by overseeing our procurement operations, managing our inventory, and ensuring the efficiency of our supply chain. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing furniture, equipment, goods and services, and managing vendors. They will also have a keen eye for detail, enabling them to manage complex interior design procurement projects.
Responsibilities:
As a Procurement Manager, you will:
1. Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies.
2. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
3. Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
4. Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
5. Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
6. Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
7. Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
8. Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
9. Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
10. Manage and control all procurement processes for interior design projects.
11. Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to company policies and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
1. A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a procurement role, preferably within the engineering industry.
3. Proven experience in inventory management and interior design procurement.
4. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
5. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
6. High level of attention to detail.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with procurement software.
