Remote
System One is seeking a Procurement Compliance Specialist to provide support for compliance management on acquisition and other regulatory compliance actions in support of the Supply Chain department, review Federal procurement acquisition packages to ensure compliance with company procedures, and support various audit requests to include CPSR, DCMA/DCAA, and interna/external audits relating to process controls. Contract opportunity with possibility of conversion to a permanent role if the workload permits and performance is good

Pay rate up to $38/hr. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Education / Experience Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree / 3-5 years’ experience
-
Defense/Aerospace industry Government Compliance experience
-
Proven experience of government procedures and regulations including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standard (CAS), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)

Experience with creation of compliant Price/Cost Analysis acquisition a plus.

Self-motivated creative thinker with ability to execute with urgency, accuracy, and efficiency

Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
Skills / Competencies:
-
Experience in procurement compliance activities as it relates to DCMA CPSR guidelines and other regulatory requirements.

Proven experience in Federal compliance reviews of various subcontract types Firm Fixed Price (FFP), FFP/LOE, Time and Material (T&M), Cost Reimbursable (CR), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)

Ability to work collaboratively within a group and provide considerable judgement and initiative.

Highly organized with the ability to effectively multi-task varying degrees of requests.
Specific Responsibilities:
-
Review Supply Chain acquisition packages for compliance with all public law and company policies and procedures.

Provide detailed direction to the Supply Chain acquisition staff on required compliance corrections.

Assist in obtaining and evaluating recent Federal acquisition regulatory changes, Executive Orders, and other industry information to generate potential changes to or generation of new policy, procedures, or work instructions for the Supply Chain department.

Review and maintain recommended procedural updates from Supply Chain staff to facilitate determination of possible modifications to improve procedures.

Assist with audit requests such as DCMA/DCAA, CPSR, SOX, Internal/External audits as requested by management.

Assist in the development of training material to improve operational efficiency and reduce organizational risk across the Supply Chain

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
