Job Summary: Provide internal and external customer service, administrative support and relationship management to sales, procurement and transportation to facilitate the execution of purchase and sales contract fulfillment from point of purchase and sale through supplier payment and customer invoicing.
Job Responsibilities:
Purchase Contract Management (40%)
- Purchase contract entry
- Assignment of sales contracts
- Assignment of release numbers
- Reconciliation of purchase contract quantities with suppliers
- Validation of purchase contracts received from suppliers to data entered in FAST
- Ensure timely purchase contract fulfillment, extension when applicable and closure
Length Reporting (15%)
- Reconciles and manages length positions
- Accurate length reporting for assigned products
Invoicing (25%)
- Timely and accurate processing of supplier direct shipment invoicing and customer invoicing from WU inventories
- Collaborate with accounting department as needed for non-standard invoicing as needed
Supplier Relations (10%)
- Responsible for maintaining a positive working relationship with suppliers and providing support for after-the-purchase administration and execution of fertilizer purchases
Procurement support for the business unit (10%)
- Requires communication with procurement, owner support, transportation, sales and customers to execute contract fulfillment
- Provide support to internal staff with requests and other responsibilities as needed
Requirements & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2+ Years of comparable Customer Service experience
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Other Desirable Traits:
- 4-year degree in Business, Communications, Ag or other related field
- Effective communication (verbal and written)
- Interpersonal effectiveness as an individual and in teams
- Must be comfortable managing conflict while maintaining a high level of integrity and quality of work
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, plan and problem solve to deliver results
