• Job Description: The Procurement Analyst II for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the on-time delivery of his/her product purchasing portfolio to support the procurement Production Team.
You will be an integral part of the Purchasing Team and report to the Electronics Supply Relationship Manager, responsible for ensuring that the right material is at the right place, at the right time. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Implement continuous improvement in our purchasing processes. Take ownership in managing vendor relationships and on-time delivery. Relentlessly search for margin expansion opportunities.
The essential requirements of the job include: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 2+ years of experience; or, a master's degree in a relevant field with 0-2 years of experience. Demonstrable history of outstanding performance managing on-time vendor delivery of sophisticated products. Extensive knowledge of inventory management techniques and best industry practices. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Purchasing a range of parts from different commodities. Working in a collaborative cross-functional manner. Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
