Position
Accounting Clerk lll
Description
Assist with the administrative, fiscal, accounting, purchasing and contract needs for the Community Development Department
Coordinate with the bureau's analyst to manage the department's formal procurements (RFP/RFQ) and contracts
Maintain RFP and contract trackers and keep coworkers informed of updates
Collaborate with personnel in other departments (Purchasing, City Attorney, Risk Management) to ensure procurements continue moving along
Input and update Contracts and Purchase Orders in the financial system, Munis
Prepare month-end journal entries and reconciliations, record Accounts Receivable invoices, deposit revenue, and record receipts
Requirements
Basic knowledge of contracts and purchase orders
Proficient with one or more financial systems
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
Excellent customer service skills
Additional Information
Schedule: 32-40 hours per week (M-F); 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (flexible to an hour range between 7-5:30)
