We are seeking a dynamic, highly-motivated Permanent Procurement/Account Manager to join our rapidly growing sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in procurement, account management, and sales within the e-waste and electronics decommissioning industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the procurement process, excellent negotiation skills, and a keen eye for identifying business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize our supply chain operations and ensure the effective management of our e-waste and electronics decommissioning processes.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure the most advantageous terms for the company.
- Manage customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our range of services.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
- Implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
- Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with our quality standards and sustainability commitments.
- Collaborate with the finance team to forecast procurement costs and manage budgets effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, sales, or account management within the e-waste and electronics decommissioning industry.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and e-waste and electronics decommissioning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed business decisions.
- Self-motivated, with a proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and promoting sustainability in procurement practices.
