Role: Process V&V NPD Engineer/ Process Engineer
Position is on site in Irvine CA, 100%

Duties & Responsibilities*
Works independently with limited direction
Performs material tests.
Performs activities of process/product validation.
Performs DOEs and process characterization
Proficiency in protocol and test report documentation
Proficiency in Statistics, Gage R & R
Studies the existing processes to implement improvements on new products.
Identifies, and develops the necessary equipment related to new product development.
Responsible for preparing and managing specifications.
Assists technicians and engineers about unusual problems.
Responsible for purchasing and designing equipment that meets safety and environment requirements.
Responsible for developing new manufacturing and assembly processes consistent with Design for Manufacturability for new product introductions
Continuously seeks opportunities of new and existing processes to reduce costs and improve quality
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
Medical Device / Pharmaceutical experience a plus
Will maintain all appropriate safety and environmental hazard training.
Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.
Ability to travel 30 40% Domestic/International is a must
This is a hands on position, where candidate will be primarily executing assigned tasks
