General Technologies, Inc., has immediate openings for Process Technicians on 3rd shift (10:45pm - 7:15am). Must have prior experience as a process technician in a injection molding facility.
Job Description
- Perform setup, startup, diagnosis and troubleshooting of the injection molding presses, all auxiliary equipment and all secondary production equipment
- Independently perform machine adjustments within allowable parameters and perform routine machine maintenance tasks that optimizes efficiency of the tool
- Communicates problems and corrective action with Maintenance Manager and Shift Supervisor
- Document all records related to downtime, scrap, repairs, process deviation, etc.
- Maintain positive employee relations and adhere to Company policies and safety standards
- House Keeping must keep work area clean at all times
- Reports to Maintenance Manager
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience as a Process Technician in Plastic Injection Molding
- Scientific Molding Experience is preferred
- Experienced with two-shot molding/over molding
- Able to perform P.M. on production molds. (ex: mold cleans, basic insert changes, proper greasing of tools)
- Able to perform programming functions and troubleshoot robotics and automation systems
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina and strength
- Must be flexible; able to work extended hours and weekends when required
- Attendance must be 98% or better
- Must be able to read and write
- High school diploma is preferred but not required
Schedule:
- 3rd Shift - Monday - Friday, 10:45pm - 7:15am (May have to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed)
- $2.00/hour shift differential
