Process Technician - Cypress, Ca
These roles will start out as a 1st shift 6-2:30pm for training, then move to 2nd shift from 2pm-10:30pm.
Ceramic Matrix Composites \ High Temperature Composites
Must be a US Citizen
The Process Technician will perform manufacturing/operational tasks for which they have been trained on, consistent with the requirements of the team, statutory and company standards (e.g. Health, Safety, Environment, Rolls-Royce Quality Management System, and company Production System) including the manufacture and assembly of components and sub-assemblies.
As our Process Technician, your key accountabilities will include:
Perform weekly maintenance on equipment to ensure equipment is safe and reliable
Ability to stand for an extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50lbs on occasion during a shift
Ability to work as an individual and as a team player to get the job done.
Ability to safely handle compressed gas cylinders and other containers of potentially hazardous chemicals
Follow production plans in order to meet customer requirements
Ability to resolve conflicts within the team in the spirit of team work in order to ensure high standards of professionalism at all times
This is an entry level position and we are willing to train the right person
Participating in cost reduction/operational improvements in order to satisfy customer needs
Must be able to work a second or third shift depending on business needs.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
USA Citizenship
Eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance
Familiar with Microsoft Office
Preferred:
Experience within industrial or manufacturing environment
Experience working with compressed gases in industrial processes
Detail oriented and able to follow procedures
Strong Mechanical aptitude
