Job Summary:
The Process Safety Engineer will ensure the safety and integrity of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. As a Process Safety Engineer, you'll assess, analyze, and implement safety measures to protect our employees, assets, and the environment.
Job Duties:
- Conduct risk assessments (HAZOP, PHA, FMEA) to identify hazards.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and implement safety strategies.
- Lead continuous improvement of the Process Safety Management program.
- Review and update P&IDs, SOPs, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Chemical or Safety Engineering (or related field).
- 5+ years of experience in process safety, ideally in pharma.
- Knowledge of process safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with process safety tools/software.
- Process Safety Professional Certification is a plus.
