Early in the project, they assess feasibility of new projects. They later develop more detailed scope through field walks and collaboration with facilities operations partners and project engineers from other disciplines. During detailed design and construction, our Project Engineers serve as the Owner's representative to provide technical guidance and issue resolutions.
Our Project Engineers are the primary leaders of scope, have strong knowledge of the client’s
master specifications and standards, and use our change process to improve those standards and drive
innovative solutions.
The ideal candidate must be able to develop and implement innovative engineering and design methodologies to support very aggressive program cost and construction schedules, as well as share learnings with other sites, both learning from the other sites and sharing advantages of local innovations. You will be working at the IMO reference site so transferability needs to be considered in design, and moderate understanding of the transfer site is needed for consideration. Interact and partner with customer management, provide direction to the Base build project teams; have a sound knowledge of the project and construction contracts; and partner with Tool Install, CS Operations and IMO Factory to develop and manage an integrated plan that will achieve project objectives and commitments.

resources. Interface with facilities staff and project managers to enable facility
design efforts for their area of expertise. - Lead inter-discipline coordination efforts, work groups, and collaborate closely with other disciplines to define design criteria, lead scope definition and justification, develop design concepts, and
oversee completion of positioning, programming and detailed design. - Work with estimators to ensure costs are captured and project budgets are met.
- Work together with our factory, operations, and supply chain partners to deliver some of the
most technically challenging projects in the world with demanding schedule and cost
constraints. - Ensure that work is being performed code compliant and to the client’s Policies and Expectations.
Responsible for delivering construction projects globally using multiple project delivery and
execution strategies at a competitive advantage. - Develops discipline scope and engineering solutions which include schedule, budget and
safety requirements for assigned construction projects. - Interfaces and coordinates with Design, Construction and internal client organizations to
enable facility design efforts for area of expertise. - Provide input on design reviews, constructability, contractor performance and coordination
with construction resources to manage discipline schedule and budget. - Ensures accuracy of estimating tied to scope of work and linkage to project schedules.
