Process & Product Engineer - OLED Technologies LLC
Rochester, NY
About the Job
PROCESS & PRODUCT ENGINEER
Overview
As one of our Process Engineers, you will be key to helping us optimize our production processes.
Why is this role so important? Ultimately, we pride ourselves in empowering our customers to
make unique products with the world's most advanced, best performing and highest quality multistack OLED technology. It is our mission. We need our process engineers focused on watching every step of the production process, making improvements, and ensuring the level of quality our
customers expect. Quality is key.
What You'll Do Every Day
You will work closely with the Production and Research & Development teams. The cool thing
about OLEDWorks is that one minute you might be working closely with our COO, and the next you
might be working alongside one of our new co-op employees learning all about OLEDs and our
technology. We truly have a culture of learning, knowledge sharing, and innovative inspiration.
Each day you will develop a process in production that meets all the specifications of the
production run. That means taking the "recipe" that comes out of research and making the
necessary adjustments to create the process needed. Once our product is in production, you will
manage the process to make sure the coatings on the production coater are as required. If any
problems occur along the way, you will troubleshoot the problems and make corrections. Your
focus will be to make sure the yields are up, the quality is high and where it is supposed to be, and
more. We will rely on you to help us further optimize our processes with a focus on continuous
improvement.
Skills You Must Bring
You have microelectronic or chemical engineering aptitude, education, and experience. Some of
your experience is in a fabrication or manufacturing environment. You pay attention to the details
and are diligent and thorough. You take pride in your accurate and consistent work and like to
contribute collaboratively as a team.
