Position Summary
The Process Operations Manager will develop and implement operational best practices that support all glass fabrication locations. This role will establish/support OBE’s business best practices (BBP) around glass product manufacturing that will meet or exceed our Annual Operating Plan (AOP) OPEX initiatives for the company. As we continue to expand our footprint, we are seeking a highly skilled and strategic-minded professional to join our team as the Process Operations Manager to support/create and maintain a culture of manufacturing excellence throughout the organization and design and deploy training aligned with Toyota Production System (TPS) Operating model.
This key leader will play a pivotal role in assisting under-performing facility across the organization to properly identify opportunities and establish their recovery plan back to success. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic: Participate in developing standard Best Business Practices for glass manufacturing and identify future technologies that will drive next phase of improvements.
- Targets: Support efforts to achieve operational targets around material yields, Internal rejects, Credits and productivity as stated in AOP.
- Management & Training: Train and develop local plant operations team on process excellence. Partner with facility leadership teams to troubleshoot and create actions plans for low performing sites.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Audit and evaluate glass operations compliance to established process standards and best practices.
- Relationships: Fosters relationships with plant leadership, Operational Excellence and internal partners. Indirect oversight for supporting process improvement at 27 glass facilities.
- Financials: Meet or exceed Operational Excellence Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) around productivity, cutting yields, internal rejects and credits as set in the AOP (budget).

Professional Experience/Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive glass manufacturing experience in various plant operations roles.
- Solid experience with glass manufacturing systems such as Fenevision or Surpass.
- Experience leading in a private equity environment desirable.
- A proven track record of success.
- Excellent communication, presentation skills, and demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, senior leadership, and matrixed teams.
