About this Position:
The Process Manufacturing Engineer will maximize manufacturing OEE line capacities through cycle time downtime reduction with a focus on FOG/ FSI activity on mechanical and electrical projects.
Responsibilities include:
·Maximize production output through cycle time and downtime reduction:
oTroubleshoot Analyze equipment to resolve issues in a timely manner.
oDevelop implement countermeasures to eliminate reoccurring long downtime situations.
oWork to determine root cause analysis.
oAnalyze equipment data to identify areas for improvement in equipment – use trend data to proactively address issues before they are major problems.
·Lead long downtime situations with troubleshooting electrical mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
·Prepare reports for long downtime situations month end OEE reporting.
·Support projects and identify new technologies for improvement:
oIdentify new technologies/equipment/processes that can drive continuous improvement – test the concept.
oSupport projects or participate as team member so that intended/required project outcomes are achieved on time and within budget.
Who we are seeking:
Required Work Experience:
·One term as a co-op preferred
Required Education:
·Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial) or equivalent work experience.
Desired skills:
·Mechanical/ electrical design, PLC Programming, Fanuc Robot Programming, CNC Programming, Microsoft Office, knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Additional Position Factors:
·Overtime as required for equipment repair or projects
·Travel to vendors for Equipment Evaluation/Runoff
·Ability to lift 25lbs due to equipment repair that may be required.
