- Process Mapping & Optimization: Evaluate existing processes, create detailed maps, and identify areas for improvement using various tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, RACI frameworks).
- Risk Management & Controls: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks within financial operations, ensuring robust controls.
- Root Cause Analysis: Diagnose operational inefficiencies and implement long-term solutions.
- Role Definition: Clearly define roles and responsibilities across teams and stakeholders.
- Leadership: Drive initiatives with a mindset of ownership, influencing others to achieve organizational goals.
- Problem Solving: Utilize tools and methodologies to identify pain points and develop innovative solutions.
- Process Engineering Expertise:
- Extensive experience in process evaluation, optimization, and risk management within the financial services industry.
- Proficiency in process mapping tools and methodologies.
- Tools & Methodologies:
- Lean Six Sigma or equivalent problem-solving and process improvement certifications.
- Familiarity with process mapping frameworks like RACI and other stakeholder analysis tools.
- Leadership Experience:
- Proven ability to lead initiatives, work collaboratively, and drive results.
- Communication & Value Demonstration:
- Ability to articulate how tools and processes add value to the organization.
- Strong financial services or servicing process experience (not manufacturing).
- Adaptable to various tools and systems, with a focus on solving complex process challenges.
- Analytical thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
- Conversion Eligibility: Candidates working remotely cannot be converted to permanent roles; on-site candidates in Richmond or McLean are preferred for conversion opportunities.
