The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Process Manager to oversee and optimize plating operations at our Cleveland facility. This individual will play a pivotal role in coordinating the manufacturing process, supervising team members, managing plating production, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Process Manager to oversee and optimize plating operations at our Cleveland facility. This individual will play a pivotal role in coordinating the manufacturing process, supervising team members, managing plating production, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate plating setup, process procedures, and production schedules
- Supervise and mentor supervisors and machine operators, ensuring proper training and development
- Oversee plating lines, wastewater processes, and plating lab operations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plating processes, reduce scrap, and control costs
- Manage department budgets, including chemical inventory and requisitions
- Oversee rack builds, weekend tank maintenance, and program launches
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards
- Promote teamwork and a culture of continuous improvement within the department
- Support audits, corrective action activities, and new product launches
Qualifications:
- Required:
- ~ 35 years of direct plating process experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of plating processes and quality standards
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor teams effectively
- Preferred:
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- Supervisory experience
