Process Improvement & QA Engineer - Nationwide Technical Resources Corp

• Evaluate and address the company’s quality issues.
  
• To lead all activities to maintain the company’s quality system and ISO certification.
  
• Maintain Nonconforming Material Reports and periodical audits to verify the effectiveness of Quality Systems.
  
• Work with laboratory personnel in activities and evaluation related to failure investigations.
  
• Provide statistical analysis information to improve product quality and process improvements.
  
• Take a lead on supplier’s audits and quality control.
  
• Maintenance of IS9001 Quality Management System QMS to include SOPs, Approved Suppliers List.
  
• Maintenance of IS9001 Quality Management System QMS to include Internal and External Corrective Actions and all Non-conformances.
  
• Maintenance of IS9001 Quality Management System QMS to include Internal and External audits.
  
• All Quality Management System QMS procedures and document control.
  
• Initiates Process improvements based on critical matrix review, Lead process improvement projects and collaboration with other departments to be able to meet customer’s expectations.
  
• Supplier audit control; Heat Treatment audits and casting supplier quality audits.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field is required.
  
• 3-5 years’ knowledge of ISO 9001 quality system and QMS is a plus
  
• Audit qualification or certification is a plus
  
• Must be assertive, have good verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  
• Computer proficiency is required 
  
• SAP or similar ERP Experience 
  
• Steel Foundry or Steel Fabrication experience is a plus.
  
• Ability to apply concepts of basic or advanced math to practical situations.
