DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Perform assessments of the business to clearly define a problem statement, formulate an initial solution strategy, and achieve stakeholder agreement on proposed analytical work. Translate raw, complex, and ambiguous business process data into meaningful insights and tangible changes in operational processes. Guide technical teams in the creation of analytics-driven solutions to problems, and embed solutions into business operations. Build and deploy prototype solutions to demonstrate concepts and prove business value. Communicate project findings, conclusions and recommendations with peers and clients. Produce data analysis and hypothesis documentation, and perform code management throughout the development of analytical solutions. Manage projects and lead end-to-end delivery of client-facing engagements. Communicate with project team members and executive sponsors throughout the project lifecycle regarding status updates, gaps or risks, roadblocks, and testing outcomes. Lead the team to deliver quantifiable and documented business value for the work performed. Develop presentations to summarize and communicate key messages to senior management sponsors and colleagues. Understand high-level organizational objectives and translate them into actionable goals for technical teams and projects. Develop go-to-market strategies including roadmaps, frameworks, templates, standard procedures, and prototypes for the expansion of process intelligence capabilities across the firm. Attain buy-in and sponsorship from executive leadership for the roll-out of major process intelligence programs. Leverage agile or scrum methodology to appropriately pivot and communicate project direction as the business landscape changes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Engineering (Any), Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related field of study plus 5 (Five) years of experience in the job offered or as Process Improvement Manager, Application Performance Management Architect, Project Engineer, Reliability Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Management consulting and process improvement, including providing solutions and strategies for improving the financial and operational health of an organization; Leading Lean Six Sigma deployments to improve employee and company performance; Preparing executive level presentations reporting project results; At least 2 of the following ETL data tools: Python, SQL, SAS, JavaScript, or Alteryx; Data Visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau; Project management using Waterfall methodology in Microsoft Project or Agile methodology in Jira; Process mapping and reengineering in Visio or iGrafx; Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and graphing; and Microsoft PowerPoint, including creating master slide templates, complex animations, logos, tables, and graphs.
Job Location: 8181 Communications Pkwy, Plano, TX 75024. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
