About the Job
Gpac is currently working with a client in North Carolina who is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer for their food production facility! They are located an hour outside Raleigh and relocation assistance is provided.
This person will be responsible for conducting process improvement initiatives aimed at improving their manufacturing processes, reducing losses, and reducing costs.This person will report directly to the VP of Manufacturing and they are ideally looking for someone with previous food manufactuirng experience, as well as solid background with lean/six sigma. This person should be data driven and have a strong analytical mindset, but also have the ability to be hands-on in the plant, working with operators and assiting with projects.

Qualified candidates should have the following:
- 4 year engineering degree
- Lean manufacturing experience - Green belt/black belt a plus
- 5+ years experience in high volume process based food manufacturing
- Experience generating CI and processes improvement in manufacturing within the areas of safety, quality, delivery and cost.
- Ability to teach manufacturing and technical concepts
- Hands on approach, being able to be on the floor with equipment and operators
- Proficient in Excel
- Previous experience within FOOD MANUFACTURING
Client is targeting $95k-$115k base DEO, plus bonus and full benefits.
