Titan Florida has an opening for a Process Improvement and Controls Manager at the Deerfield Beach, FL office. This salary position will report to the Vice President of Finance and supports the Company’s business activities located in Florida. The primary function of this position is to lead process optimization, automation, and compliance initiatives across the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle. This role is critical for enhancing efficiency, driving process improvements, and ensuring SOX compliance within our financial operations, aligning with the company’s growth objectives.
Responsibilities:- Lead initiatives to streamline and optimize the entire P2P process, from procurement through to payment, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely processing of transactions.
- Oversee the implementation and scaling of automation tools (e.g., RPA, OCR) within the P2P process to reduce manual tasks, increase accuracy, and improve transaction speed, partnering with IT and Procurement as needed.
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls within the P2P cycle to ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal policies, reducing risks associated.
- Ensure all transactions and processes are documented, auditable, and meet SOX requirements. Prepare and support both internal and external audit requirements, providing insights into controls and risk mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with vendor contracts, purchase orders, and service agreements, working closely with Procurement to maintain effective supplier relationships.
- Develop and track KPIs for supplier performance, payment accuracy, and compliance, optimizing vendor terms and improving service levels across the P2P cycle.
- Support cash flow objectives by optimizing payment terms and leveraging early payment discounts where applicable, aligning with financial strategy and working capital goals.
- Implement processes to prevent overpayments, duplicate payments, and late fees, thereby improving cost control and protecting financial integrity.
- Leverage P2P data to drive decision-making, identify process bottlenecks, and generate reports that provide transparency into company liabilities and transaction volumes.
- Utilize data and metrics to identify areas for process enhancements and work with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, promoting scalability as the organization grows.
- Work closely with Procurement, Treasury, and Finance teams to align P2P practices with broader organizational goals, especially in the context of IPO-readiness.
- Provide guidance to the team on process improvements, compliance standards, and emerging P2P practices. Foster a collaborative environment focused on operational excellence and accountability.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business management, required.
- 5-8 years’ experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable, required.
- 3 years’ experience managing a team required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word required.
- Knowledge of SAP system preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple processes and projects under tight deadlines and to research to resolve ambiguous information effectively.
