What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing gas processing systems compliant with industry standards and regulations.
- Creating and maintaining Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Conducting design calculations for pressure vessels, piping and other component selection using simulation software.
- Specifying control valves, pressure safety valves, relief valves, and flowmeters.
- Collaborating with controls engineers to integrate PLCs, SCADA systems, and sensors into equipment.
- Supporting manufacturing with clear documentation and work instructions.
- Participating in risk assessments, such as Hazard and Operability Analysis and PFMEA.
- Troubleshooting equipment and optimizing processes in manufacturing and field settings.
About You
- Be able to do the job as described.
- Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
- Hands-on experience with creating and updating P&IDs.
- Skilled in SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling software.
- Experience using Compress or PV Elite software for pressure vessel design.
- Familiar with ASME Section VIII boiler and pressure vessel codes and standards.
- Familiar with ASME B31.2, B31.3 piping codes and standards.
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate effectively.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.
