The Position: Responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing processes within a manufacturing or production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze data, troubleshooting issues, improving efficiency, ensuring safety standards, and collaborating with various teams to achieve production goals.
• Drive innovation by developing new methodologies and leveraging the latest technologies.
• Reduce defects and rework, leading to higher customer satisfaction and lower warranty costs.
• Ensure processes comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering from a four-year college or university and three years related experience and/or training; will consider comparable work experience in lieu of degree.

• Proficient in engineering principles, process design, and relevant software tools.

• Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.

• Skill in collecting and interpreting data to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement.

• Experience in managing projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and meeting deadlines.

• Effective communication skills to convey technical information, collaborate with colleagues, and present findings to stakeholders.

• Commitment to driving process improvements, reducing waste, and enhancing efficiency.

• Prioritization of safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

PAY RANGE: $60,000-$74,250

The Location: Liberty Steel & Wire is based in Peoria, IL.
