Summary
The Process Engineer is a subject matter expert on tea manufacturing process and packing equipment representing the Engineering & Technical Services TEAm as a business partner to the Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Procurement, and Quality Assurance TEAms.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains Technical Processing Equipment Specifications across the enterprise.
- Identifies and executes cost savings initiatives.
- Subject Matter Expert on Process Equipment.
- Partnership with the QA TEAm to ensure equipment is properly validated and operating within required specifications.
- Subject Matter Expert in developing and maintaining design & operating standards for process equipment
- Develops training plans for Engineering and Maintenance TEAm Members.
- Ensures Maintenance TEAms have access to useful and actionable Preventative Maintenance procedures for maintaining process equipment.
- Supports the development of Milos’s Tea Company automation projects from both a technical perspective and through business intelligence & expertise.
- Follow safety policy and procedures including, but not limited to, lock out-tag-out, hot work permit and confined space.
- Upholds and demonstrates leadership in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy, and MMAD volunteering opportunities.
- This position has food Safety Responsibilities.
- Other responsibilities, as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2+ years of experience in process or project engineering
- Experience with industrial controls systems.
- Experience with use of Microsoft Office software.
- Experience in utilizing P&IDs in an industrial environment.
- Capable to work both independently and as part of a larger group.
Supervisory:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
